Good morning and happy Monday! We survived the heat wave-hoping that's the hottest for the season, and are starting off the week on a brighter note (despite the weather ๐Ÿ˜œ). We are excited for this week's line up!

You can find us at the rescheduled Greensburg Night Market this Thursday! It's such a fun market, we are looking forward to it!

In other big news, we are making our return to Ligonier Country Market on Ligonier Street in Latrobe! We can't wait to be back and see so many of our favorite faces. We were doing well on our own, but we really blossomed and were able to grow into the food truck thanks to the large support from customers of Ligonier Country Market, and the market itself really helped get our name and product out there. We'll be back with our hot breakfast favorites and baked goods.

Menus for both will be posted ASAP as well as our locations at each market. Have a great week, everybody!

Hope everybody had a wonderful 250th Celebration yesterday! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ—ฝ

We have certainly had better. While I understand you can't control the crowds, and you can't control the weather, I believe other aspects could be handled better. I also understand wanting to do something nice for the community, it also shouldn't come at the cost of small businesses, especially when there's a decently high vendor fee to participate. I know I'm not alone in the message, but I'll happily be the one to say it.

This doesn't just apply to our event yesterday, but to a lot of events that small businesses count on. When you only have so many vendors, and charge a high fee to get in, having several of the same vendor types (when it's a smaller event), and handing out free items of things vendors sells, or selling the EXACT same food at a cheaper rate, and undercutting vendors, it really makes it feel more of a cash grab than trying to support your local small businesses.
We all work really hard, put a LOT of money into upfront costs -vendor fees, operational costs, especially food costs, prep time- it's hard to see it all wasted- especially food. Food waste is the worst. Not to mention working in EXTREME heat conditions.

Communication is also key during an event like that, before and during, ESPECIALLY with inclement weather.

All of that said, we do greatly appreciate the community that came out to support us and other small businesses, and it's always great to see our vendor friends and meet new ones. It also really makes you even more grateful for the event coordinators who make everything so seamless, value vendor feedback, and genuinely care about their vendors.

Have a great rest of your holiday weekend, I'll be posting where we'll be this week shortly.
