Rain and even snow showers at the higher elevations: The seasons definitely are-a-changin'!

And that means we're approaching the closing day for tacos and your favorite food at the Ricochet Cafe at The Brewing Lair!

And we do hope to see you this month for great food and drink at Ricochet Cafe at The Brewing Lair!!

As summer moves into fall, we're changing our days of operation, FYI here at the cafe. Beginning this Tuesday, Sept. 5, our food truck will be closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for the remainder of our season. Your final day for food @ The Ricochet will be October 30. However, The Brewing Lair will continue operations after the food closure date for your continuing favorite libations!

We had a great opening day of our Ricochet Café food truck at The Brewing Lair last Saturday! And we’ve enjoyed seeing and serving all of you this first week of our season.

Some unsettled weather in the next few days. But enjoying the glorious mountains of California always means layering your clothing and being prepared for changeable weather. We're a hardy lot!

All trails—even the high-elevation snowy ones—lead to our beautiful Blairsden location! We’re open every day at 12:30 p.m.—and serve food until about 8 p.m. (depending on turn out).

And hey: Today is Cinco de Mayo, in recognition of Mexico’s victory over the French Army at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. Here in the U.S., May 5 is associated with a celebration of the Mexican-American culture—with the first celebrations here in California the following year.

Drop by this evening to keep those unbroken commemorations going! Or join us this weekend or next week for awesome food and drink, as the temperatures continue to rise.

Opening day is this Saturday, April 29 for the Ricochet Cafe food truck at The Brewing Lair!

We kick off the 2023 season, our third at The Brewing Lair, in two days. We're offering some new menu items to spice up your spring and summer after our long winter: Sauteed shrimp tacos and Barbacoa beef that you can enjoy as delicious tacos or loaded on fries. And we'll feature our hugely popular fish tacos and others of your favorites.

Beginning Saturday, you can satisfy your food cravings with us seven days a week starting at 12:30 p.m. We'll be open daily until about 8 p.m. depending on turnout.

Stop on by on our opening weekend. We look forward to seeing our continuing, valued customers--and new faces as well!!

We’re nearing the end of a terrific season—our second
featuring The Ricochet café at The Brewing Lair!

We are open today/Thursday, as usual—but are closed tomorrow/Friday for a staff retreat/end-of-season get together. (The Brewing Lair is open this Friday for tasty beers and ales.)

Our final days this year of serving you your favorite Ricochet tacos and more? This Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 29 and 30.

Come by and say an end-of-season hello to Richochet’s intrepid owner Cheryl Duniphin (left)—and her twin sister Susan, owner of The Brewing Lair with her husband Rich.

BTW, The Brewing Lair will remain open every day through Oct. 31 for your favorite libations. Starting Nov. 1, The Brewing Lair will be open Friday through Monday, noon to darkish (5/6 p.m.)—and then Friday through Sunday starting Jan. 1.

Fall is in the air at the Ricochet Cafe at The Brewing Lair! The weather is spectacular right now in the Lost Sierra. And here in our beautiful Blairsden location, the tacos are plentiful and tasty and the beer is cold and satisfying. Stop on by!

The Ricochet Cafe continues to serve you food proudly through the end of October, five days a week from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.--closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Note: The Brewing Lair itself is open for your favorite libations seven days a week through October, from "noon to darkish--7-8ish."
