Day 96
The first 100 days usually go unnoticed in a place like Koa Table.
The first day, the first week, maybe even the first month⊠those stand out.
But somewhere along the way, the days start to blur together.
Coffee gets poured. Plates get set down. Chairs scrape in and out.
And without realizing it, something starts to take shape.
Weâre on day 96.
And this place doesnât feel new anymore.
It feels⊠familiar.
Like something weâve been part of longer than we actually have.
We recognize your faces now.
We remember what some of you order.
We catch ourselves expecting to see you walk through the door.
Itâs too early to call anyone a regular.
And âcustomerâ never really felt right.
Even âfriendâ feels a little distant for some of you.
Somewhere in there, this stopped being just a coffee shop.
Weâre not quite at 100 days yet.
But weâre close enough to feel the weight of it.
Close enough to realize this didnât happen by accident.
You showed up.
Again and again.
Sometimes just for coffee.
Sometimes to sit a little longer than you planned.
Sometimes without saying much at all.
And somehow, that was enough to turn this place into something that matters.
So we figured weâd start saying thank you the only way we know how.
Over the next few days, weâll be counting our way to 100.
Starting tomorrow, April 18, weâll hand a $100 gift card to our 100th customer.
No tricks. Weâll just tell you when weâre getting close.
Weâll draw another $100 gift card and call it out at the end of Day 100.
And weâll be making Huli Huli chicken sandwiches for $10â
not just because itâs a promotion,
but because it feels like something meant to be shared.
And when we get there⊠Day 100âŠ
We donât want to close the doors and call it a day.
We want to take it outside.
Out to the beach.
Fire going.
Coffee, a little food, and whoever shows up.
Around 7:30.
Stay as long as you want.
No plan.
No program.
Just⊠being there together for a minute.
If youâve been part of these first 100 daysâ
thank you.
If you havenât yetâ
weâll save you a spot.
