Black Mountain Cider + Mead

Not every Chamber member is part of tourism. In fact, most aren't. We want to highlight some of the members that help shape the community.

This week, we're highlighting our Brewery/Distillery Chamber members.

Comment below and share a positive experience you've had with one of the businesses in this graphic, and feel free to tag one you think should join the Chamber.

We think you’ve been specially good this week (at what? doesn’t matter), and so we’ve added Little Dragon to our mead lineup. This strawberry and tarragon mead is probably our most requested mead after Pistachio, and you’ve clearly earned it 🍻

Some folks take home over 2.5 gallons of Pistachio mead in one fell swoop.

Don’t worry; there’s still some left for you 🍻

This weekend, we’ve got the one thing Sourwood’s always been missing: c***r and mead.

It may be the 49th annual Sourwood Festival, but it’s the first one to allow alcohol sales, and we’re rather pleased to be part of the occasion.

Come find us downtown in Black Mountain this weekend and help us celebrate one of our favorite trees and types of honey honeys the only way we know how 🍻

If the promise of flying steel from Warriors Of Ash and a plateful of Jamaican comfort from CHARLEY KING’S 🇯🇲 aren’t quite enough to tempt you out on Friday, June 26, perhaps this will:

Little Dragon will make its summer debut at the Meadhall Brawl.

Our strawberry and tarragon mead returns to the taproom alongside Atalanta, our peach and rosemary c***r. You might remember Little Dragon as bright and herbaceous, while Atalanta is a longtime summer favorite.

Both will be pouring fresh on Friday evening at Black Mountain C***r + Mead while the Warriors of Ash demonstrate mixed-weapons medieval sparring just outside 🍻⚔️

Weren’t you just saying you were ready for another Meadhall Brawl?

Warriors of Ash return Friday, June 26 for an evening of mixed-weapons medieval sparring, while Charley King's, LLC’s Jamaican food truck sees to the matter of supper.

As for the c***r and mead, we have that well in hand.

Come hungry. Come thirsty. Try not to get challenged to a duel 🍻

JUNE 26th - Join Warriors of Ash for an evening of casual duels and sparring games Black Mountain C***r + Mead! Beginning at 6:30PM we will take over the parking lot at 104 Eastside Drive to challenge fellow Warriors and demonstrate The Art for patrons at the C***ry!

Jamaican Food Truck will be on-site, so come hungry! 🇯🇲

Cypris.
Aphrodite, by another name.
Beet mead, by ours.

She’s deep in color, rooted, and quietly decadent.

Taproom only (for now).
