We buy some of the finest green coffee beans available and roast them off-site on an American-made Diedrich roaster. As roasters, we deeply respect farmers’ dedication to excellence and sustainability, and we strive to honor their hard work by carefully developing each harvest’s optimal flavors. As baristas, we are invested in brewing coffee that showcases nature’s genius and in sharing it meticulously and enthusiastically with you. As community members, we strive to forge rich connections and to provide a third place that fosters creative interaction and supports the vitality of this beautiful place. We're located in the quaint downtown historic district of Black Mountain and offer delectable homemade pastries (GF options), fresh fruit smoothies, and coffee frappes in addition to all of the traditional espresso-based beverages.

The cat’s away in Seattle where specialty coffee is hailed to have been born. But I can tell you that you won’t find better latte art here than you’ll find at home. Drip baristas pour some of the most beautiful drinks anywhere in the country. Enjoy this melange of gorgeous drinkable art poured by managers from all five stores. 😍 Who pours your art?

Here is your reminder that all of our stores are available to rent event space after hours! Holiday/company parties, birthdays, engagements, baby showers, & on the off chance you just want to throw a party just because, we are here! 🫶

Events would need to take place after 6:30pm and will require that we keep a barista on the floor to chaperone and/or craft espresso beverages. Bartending services are available (and wonderful) for an extra fee by one of our baristas who has a mobile cocktail business.

Back to introducing some of our lovely baristas! One of the beautiful thing about local coffee shops is the relationship built between barista and regular. For those who don’t frequent Dripolator South and have never had the pleasure of talking with Clara, here are some things she would like you all to know (besides how amazing she is at making a matcha 😝)!

Clara is a new york-born, carolina-raised UNCA grad, who has been with dripolator for 3 months! In her time away from the drip, she’s a musician/ music teacher all around the asheville area, and just released her first EP 🥰! (If you like the song attached to the photo, you need to listen to the rest of her album!! This is Lucky Stars by Blithe 😚) Her favorite part of her day is handing out personalized pup-cup deliveries, and she’s been loving the comfy cozy vibe at Dripolator South ❤️! She is so excited to get to know everybody (and their dog!!) at the shop more and more every day :)))
Say hey to Clara next time you’re in store & make sure to support local artists (and maybe catch her at her next show🫶)!

Now that it’s September & the sun begins to set earlier, leaves start to scatter the floor… it is time for our fall specials! 🍁
We are bringing back familiar flavors (like our take on the PSL with our homemade pumpkin puree 🎃) and adding some new things (like the sleepover which was made by a Drip West barista, Caelan 🥞🫐)!
