At first we wer afraid, we were petrified,
Kept thinking how we'd serve the town with all our dough supplies denied.
But then we spent the last two night nights
Working out what we should do,
And we grew strong,
And now we've got fresh food!
And now we're back!
From outer space!
We just walked in to find you hungry

We should have known you'd clean us out,

But we restocked the fridge, my friends,

Y'ALL BROKE THE PIZZA SHOP.

This was officially the biggest weekend in Black Hawk Pizza history. Like, ever ever.

Which means we're closing early tonight bc we're literally sold out.

Like... actually sold out. Of dough. Of prep. Of everything
Ne'ery a crumb is left.

Whether you stopped in just to say hi, brought your family, told a friend about us, liked a post, trusted us to feed your family, ordered delivery, or just kept cheering us on from the sidelines—you helped make this happen.

Ten months ago, I was wide awake in a hotel on a construction site at 1am Travis sent me a text message saying "wanna buy a pizza shop?" and it's spiraled since then in the best way possible. This weekend, you packed the place so hard we literally ran out of food today.

That's wild.

Thank you for supporting a small business, for being patient when the line got long, for laughing with us, bringing us gifts (more on that later this week!) and for making this little pizza shop feel like something special.

We're exhausted. We're grateful. And we're already making more dough.

It's the end of the school year, Gilpin! Even though we're normally closed on Tuesday, to show appreciation for our Gilpin teachers, Kindergarten through high school teachers got lunch on us for FREE on us this week. We delivered 18 pizzas to our hard working custodians of education. Thanks for all you've done for our kids this year, teachers ❤️

For real though we only find gems like butt mushroom because we hand select and cut all our veggies and produce in house. We literally make everything in house, fresh, for you.
