Bixby Ice Cream Co. Celebrates Back-to-School by Giving Every Teacher a Free Cup of Ice Cream All Week Long

Summer may be ending, but Bixby Ice Cream Co. believes teachers deserve something sweet before they spend the next nine months answering questions like, "Is this for a grade?"

To celebrate another school year, all teachers are invited to enjoy a FREE cup of ice cream at Bixby Ice Cream Co. from Monday, August 10 through Friday, August 14, 2026.

No purchase is necessary. Just bring a valid school ID, smile, and let us say thank you the best way we know how—with ice cream.

Teachers spend countless hours preparing lessons, encouraging students, buying classroom supplies out of their own pockets, staying late, arriving early, and somehow still finding the patience to explain fractions for the fifteenth time before lunch. We think that's worthy of more than just a "thank you."

It's worthy of ice cream.

The promotion is open to teachers from ALL schools and districts in Oklahoma, whether they're teaching kindergarten, high school chemistry, college courses, or anything in between.

If you bring in your own hail from the storm and ask us to use it in your ice cream for a “half off special”…

…we legally, morally, and dairy-ly cannot do that.

Nice try though. Creativity: 10/10. Food safety: absolutely not.
