Hope Outreach Food Pantry Our Story: New Beginnings Outreach Ministry:
This year 2014, marks our 10th anniversary in the Point Cedar Arkansas area. Our name tells our passion..Outreach..

We are able to give a hand up to our community.
2nd Thursday & 4th Saturday of each month 8-11am
we service the Bismarck School District area and 11miles radios around the pantry with one of the areas we are reaching out to our community being the Hope Outreach FoodBank. We started in 2006 helping 15 families through the Angel Food Ministry then realized we could help more by buying through our lo

cal stores. 2009 we received a box truck not knowing we had a fully operating Food bank in our future. 2012 we built the 16x30 480sq ft.building we are now using to help over 200 families in 5 counties within 11 mile radious of the building. Simply put we have no more room. Currently we can only have 2-3 members in the building at a time choosing their food which leaves everyone else waiting outside in the weather! We store enough food for 1 distribution day at a time, causing us to pass up many opportunities to stock pile for not only our distribution days but for disaster relief as well. The new building will be located in the heart of Point Cedar on a major road. It will be 40x100 4,000 sq. ft. space allowing ALL of our clients to wait inside for their turn. This will allow us to stock pile non perishables for future donation days as well as for Disaster Relief. We will have an industrial kitchen allowing us to cook and serve food for the community, also giving us a place for County Co-op to hold cooking, canning, preperation classes for the community. The building project itself will bring much needed jobs for those in the community. Your donation of ANY size $1.00 or more can help us make our building a reality. Tonight marks the first day of the Feast of Trumpets. God's feast days to remind us of a loving God what He's done for us is doing and will do. A time we ask like King David in Psalm 139:23-24 Search my heart O God and see if there is any wickedness in me. As God's children we live in a fleshly body still needing to control our flesh nature. Now is the time to release and repent of any sin that we have harbored . Knowing sin seperates us from Father God. Especially the justified hurt and anger seeking revenge for those who have hurt us or our family. Only Father God can carry out revenge. If we seek revenge it will contaminate us as well. Father God has not forgotten His timing is not our timing. Let go and give t God that which brings sin in our hearts, give it to God and seek His presence

We want to thank all of our wonderful volunteers who make Food Distribution Day possible! We had a wonderful time visiting with and serving our neighbors during Thursday’s distribution.

We are also pleased to announce that we have revised our service area. We will now serve families who live within the Bismarck School District, as well as those who live within an 11-mile radius of our food pantry building.

We want to give a big thank you to Family Market in Malvern and the Arkansas Food Bank for letting us take part in this week's cereal drive!

This was our first year receiving cereal through the drive, and the Malvern community showed up in an incredible way. We received 8 pallets of cereal—about 1,300 boxes!

We are excited to be able to provide cereal to our families during our food distribution days. According to Arkansas Food Bank records, last year we served 370 households, helping a total of 879 people.

This generous donation will make a huge difference this summer and help ensure that families in our community have food on their tables. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible!
