Labor Day Weekend

We will be open on Saturday, 5 Sep.

We will NOT be open 6-8 Sep, so basically we will reopen on Weds 9 Sep.

This will give me some time to injure myself doing house/yard tasks that I am realistically too old to be doing, but too stupid to not do it. But hey...that is what b**r is for.

NEW PIG AND DUCK BARTENDER!!

Pig and Duck are pleased to announce that they now have a bartender for Friday nights. Ms Bree will be taking over for the grumpy old bastage that has been abusing you all for the past 6 years.

NEWS FLASH!!

The deli and pub will be closed tonight as we are going to be too short on staff to make a decent go of it.

I am not a fan of doing things half-assed, so we are going to just call it a day and start again tomorrow.

SUMMER BREAK COMING SOON

Just a heads up that we will be taking our annual summer break 4-13 July. We will be back up and running on the 14th (Tues).

SALADS FOR THE 4TH

If anyone needs salads for the 4th, please call us no later than 30 June with your orders. You can pick up your salads on Friday (3 July). We will be open our normal hours on the 3rd (10am-2pm & 4pm-7pm). The pub will also be open that evening.

Fiesta Fest was great!

I would like to give a special thanks to Funatix and the Bismarck Larks for the fantastic job they did organizing the Fiesta Fest on Saturday. I felt privileged to be a part of it.

I also would like to thank those of you who showed up to make it a great event. It sounds like it will return next year...hopefully.

BEST OF THE BEST NOMINATIONS

Hello all. Just a friendly notice that the Bismarck Tribune has started their annual BEST OF THE BEST.

Now through June 24th, they are taking nominations, so I encourage you to go out and nominate your favorite businesses. Then in July, the voting process begins.

Country House is competing in the following categories:
Best Deli
Best Sub/Sandwich
Best Caterer
Best Margarita (the Fiesta Margarita of course)

Thank you all for being there for us everyday. We are busier than ever and may need to look for a larger space.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING THIS SATURDAY?

If you are not aware yet, Funatix Events is hosting Fiesta Fest this Saturday (6 June) at the downtown Bismarck Depot.

I will be down there providing the Original Fiesta Margarita to their refreshment counter at least until supplies run out. As some of you know, Country House Deli owns that baby and happy to share it whenever we can.
