In 2016, BittyBean started as a small drive-through coffee kiosk in Bismarck with a simple goal:
Service with a smile, and here to make your day better.
At the time, specialty coffee in North Dakota was still new, and honestly, we were learning as we went.
Nearly 10 years later, BittyBean has grown into a team of around 25 people serving thousands of customers every month — with housemade baked goods, lunch items, smoked pulled pork, our locally famous house salad, and a deeper commitment to hospitality, quality, and community.
The longer we do this, the more convinced we are: Coffee is never just coffee. It’s the chance to make someone’s day genuinely better.
That’s why we’re excited to share the next chapter:
BittyBean is officially partnering with Valor Coffee.
We love the coffee Valor is producing, but what stood out most was their culture — their focus on hospitality, training, systems, design, and excellence while still remaining approachable.
Their mission, “To Uplift People Through Coffee,” deeply resonates with what we’ve been building from the beginning.
This partnership is another step toward becoming better at every level
