A Quick Heads Up! CLOSING AT 3PM TODAY (8/30/26)

With storms in the forecast, we’re taking the opportunity to close at 3PM today (Sunday, August 30th) and give our team some extra time for training, development, and rest.

Happy Sunday! We have seen a lot of comments about how we need to figure out our counter service so that the line doesn’t get so long and more folks can order faster and easier, so, I feel the need to explain….

This is the kitchen. A lot of home kitchens are larger than this. If we had built this restaurant from scratch we definitely would have made it bigger but we inherited it and are trying to make it work! This kitchen can only handle one food ticket at a time so we need only one device sending back food orders so they don’t get slammed with 2,3,4 orders at once and crash back here.

Our kitchen at The Paddle Trap isn’t much bigger so we have learned from experience what kind of wait times at the host stand and at the table happen when you are trying to serve too many people with too small of a kitchen and are trying something new to prevent that from happening here.

It is our intent that once the patios close for the year and it’s indoor seating only, that we can move to full table service since our indoor space is so small as well. Thank you to everyone that has visited us so far, we appreciate your patience and support very much and are working super hard to make Bismarck proud. ❤️ The Landing
