From Alabama-raised, custom-created meats, made-from-scratch biscuits, and jellies made in house daily to our custom roasted BBB blend of coffee from Royal Cup, and one of the best Bloody Mary’s you’ll find anywhere, we are not your average breakfast joint. We wear our “Big Bad” name as a badge of honor and take special pride in serving all your breakfast, brunch and yes, even lunch (try the Big Bad Burger!) favorites with the creativity and technique that only a skilled, world-renowned chef can bring to the table.

We LOVE hearing from our guests, and this one about BBB-280 was too good not to share. 🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Breakfast yesterday and OMG!!! One-week Birmingham resident, tried this spot yesterday and I could EASILY set up a tent at a corner table and just eat here… FOREVER! I had the Cathead Chicken Biscuit with a side of grits (more on those later). Crispy fried, I’m assuming they pickle-brine all their chicken, and it makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE. Sausage gravy was amazing, as are their biscuits… a bit dense, but I’m guessing that’s the ‘in lard we trust,’ which, as Emeril used to say, ‘Pork fat rules’… yes, YES IT DOES.

My girl had the Mother of All Biscuits, Dirty Bird style, with hot sauce, bacon (which is spicy and sweet and just incredible) and honey… again, that pickle chicken—crispy, moist and just amazing! We tried their in-house green hot sauce in the squeeze bottle on the table. TERRIFIC! Great flavor and just enough heat. They also have bottled house-made strawberry preserves on the table in squeeze bottles… BOTH DELICIOUS.

NOW for those grits. McEwen & Sons brand, stone-ground, perfect and delicious!!! Not processed. Perfect side dish. Could’ve just ordered a triple order of them. Fresh-squeezed in-store O.J. was terrific, as was the vanilla cold brew. So much, I ordered one to go… the name says it all!!! B.B.B.!!!”
