Sometimes we don’t miss a year or a place. We miss a feeling. We miss walking into a house full of voices, smelling dinner from the kitchen, hearing our parents talk,
and feeling like the whole world was safe. We miss friends knocking on the door, cousins staying over,
and holidays that felt magical without needing much. Those days were not perfect, but they were real.
We were surrounded by love, even when we didn’t notice it. Now we look back with soft hearts, wishing we could visit those moments just one more time.
