A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for the Big Boy event!
Despite the extreme summer heat, it was an incredible day filled with great people, amazing conversations, and plenty of excitement. We truly appreciate everyone who came out to celebrate with us.
We also want to clarify that while there were reports of significant heat-related issues at the event in Muhlenberg, those incidents did not occur here at Reading Coffee Company. We did have a few guests who needed assistance because of the heat, but thanks to the quick response of our trained staff and our amazing neighbors at TowerDirect , everyone received prompt care. A special thank you to the TowerDirect team for being on-call and ready to help throughout the day—we're grateful to have such wonderful neighbors and community partners.
Knowing the temperatures would be challenging, we did everything we could to help everyone stay as comfortable as possible, including providing a large shade tent, umbrellas, a cooling station, plenty of water, cold drinks, food, and lots of places to take a break from the sun.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who showed up, stayed positive, and made the day such a memorable one. Events like these are only possible because of an amazing community, and we're so grateful to be part of it.
