Big Ed's Steakhouse - Bird City

07/30/2026

It's that time again... Thresher Show weekend! And we're looking forward to another busy weekend in Bird City! We expect a full house Friday and Saturday as friends, neighbors, and Thresher Show visitors join us for supper.

**To help us serve as many guests as possible, we will not be taking reservations on Friday or Saturday. Seating will be first come, first served throughout the weekend**

Our staff will be working hard to get everyone seated and served as quickly as possible, and we truly appreciate your patience if there's a wait.
We can't wait to see everyone and hope you'll come hungry!
Thank you for supporting Big Ed's, and have a wonderful Thresher Show weekend! ❤️

*UPDATE: Big Ed's WILL be open regular hours tonight (Weds, July 29)
Our air conditioning isn't fully repaired just yet, but we've gotten it working well enough to cool the dining room to a comfortable temperature. We're still working on a permanent fix, but we're confident you'll be able to enjoy your meal in comfort.
Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Big Ed's Steakhouse & Lounge will be CLOSED tonight (Tuesday, July 28) due to an air conditioning failure Saturday night.
As much as we hate to do this, our dining room is currently 93°, and turning on the grill, fryers, and ovens would only make it hotter for both our guests and our staff.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We're working to get the problem fixed as quickly as possible and hope to be back open very soon.
Thank you for your patience and continued support of Big Ed's. ❤️
