The Sicilian II has received BusinessRate’s Best of 2026 award, ranked as the #1 Italian restaurant on the Mississippi Gulf Coast! 🏆

BusinessRate’s rankings use Google review data, by considering overall star ratings, how frequently guests leave reviews, and the depth and quality of the experiences they share.

That last part means so much to me. When someone enjoys a meal here and feels inspired to take the time to write a detailed review about the food, the service, or how we made their evening special, is something I never take for granted. Those words matter to our little restaurant and to the people using those reviews to decide where to spend their evening.

For over 10 years, I’ve poured my heart into this kitchen and the family tradition behind it. Knowing that your experiences helped earn this recognition makes it especially meaningful.

Thank you for every visit, every recommendation, and every thoughtful review. From my family to yours, thank you for giving us a place at your table and for allowing us to give you just a little time to enjoy a meal.

We had the great pleasure of having Jesse Meriwether in for dinner this evening! You may recognize her from the Orbit Gum commercials! She’s born and raised right here on the gulf coast and just the sweetest soul you could imagine! Starting the day right!

What a nice come back from vacation!

We’re officially BACK today, and apparently someone decided to leave us a pretty wonderful “welcome home” present while we were gone!

Taking the Kids just published “The 9 Cozy Mississippi Italian Places Where The Red Sauce Has Not Changed In Decades” and The Sicilian II made the list!

They talked about the generations behind our recipes, Great Great Great Grandma’s Lasagna, our Stuffed Manicotti, Shrimp Alfonso, Saganaki, our little unassuming storefront, and even the crazy chef escaping the kitchen from time to time to help you figure out what you’re hankering!

What a nice way to celebrate our first day back from our vacation! The crew is rested, I’m back in my kitchen, and we’re all bustling around getting everything ready to go for tonight.

Come welcome us back, grab your favorite table, and see for yourself why our little Sicilian restaurant continues to get noticed alongside some wonderful Italian restaurants from across Mississippi!

WE’RE BACK!!! Well… back in the kitchen, anyway! 😆

We’ve spent today getting The Sicilian stocked back up and making all of our fresh batches from scratch so everything is ready when we reopen TOMORROW at 5PM!

We hope everyone had a great week while we were gone. We had a wonderful vacation, but we definitely missed all of you and now the whole Sicilian crew is rested, rejuvenated, and ready to get back to serving our coastal family!

I hope to see you when the Sicilian II returns tomorrow (Tuesday) at 5PM to give you a little of that oh so important time to enjoy your meal!

Hey my Coastal Family, it’s VACATION TIME!

It’s time for our regularly scheduled semi-annual family vacation!

The Sicilian II will be closed this week while our family and crew take a little time to rest, recharge, and enjoy some time together.

We hope everyone has a wonderful, fun, and safe week, and don’t forget to take a little time to enjoy your meals while we’re gone!

We’ll be rested, recharged, and ready to cook for you again next Tuesday!
