What an emotional week it has been . I was so amazed of the amount of people who came through that door! You will never know how much it meant to me. There were lots of tears and hugs. You all made me feel so special.
My whole family was there to support me.
And towards the end of the day Mayor, Fofo Gilich presented me an official proclamation,  thank you mayor!

After nearly 35 years of serving the coast, I have made the difficult decision to close the Deli. Thursday, November 20, will be our last day.
When I opened Rena‘s Deli back in 1991 I thought to myself if I can just make it 10 years, I would be so happy. I would’ve never guessed that my tiny little restaurant would become a Biloxi staple for the next 34 1/2 years. It took a lot of hard work and sacrifices, but the memories created along the way made the hard times worth it.

To my customers: thank you for your support over the years, I have made lifelong friends. and I will be forever grateful.

To my family and friends thank you for loving Rena‘s Deli as much as I do. I know we have made many memories here and I will cherish those memories forever. 
It’s been very emotional making this decision, but I know I’m doing the right thing.
