Sometimes I head into the kitchen with one idea, and before I know it, the creativity starts flowing and Iā€™m making something completely new. šŸ˜‚ This weekend brought two new creations that I couldnā€™t resist sharing!

šŸŠ Biloxi Sunshine Muffins ā€” Soft, golden orange muffins bursting with bright citrus flavor and creamy white chocolate chips. Theyā€™re sweet, fresh, and just feel like a little taste of sunshine from our Mississippi Gulf Coast.

šŸ©“šŸŽ‰ Flip Flop Confetti Bars ā€” These were definitely created with the kids in mind! Thick, buttery cookie bars filled with rainbow sprinkles and white chocolate chips, baked until soft and chewy. Theyā€™re colorful, fun, a little over-the-top, and exactly the kind of treat that makes the kidsā€™ eyes light up.

The Confetti Bars may not be the fanciest thing to ever come out of my kitchen, but thatā€™s part of the fun. Sometimes itā€™s nice to forget about making everything perfect and just create something you know the kids are going to LOVE. ā¤ļø

Iā€™ve really been enjoying seeing where a little creativity takes me lately. Good food, happy kids, and a kitchen full of ideasā€¦ Iā€™d say thatā€™s a pretty good weekend. šŸŠšŸ©“āœØ

Sorry for the long delay! Itā€™s been pretty chaotic since school started back and Iā€™ve been navigating getting all four munchkins settled into a brand-new school year. But I have to admit ā€” itā€™s been a pretty fun kind of chaos! ā¤ļøšŸ˜‚

And all those busy school mornings got me thinkingā€¦ something NEW may be washing ashore at Flip Flops & Cake Pops! šŸŒŠšŸ§

Iā€™m doing a little trial run on fresh-baked breakfast muffins ā€” something fun and easy for the little ones to grab on those mornings when simply getting everyone dressed, fed, and out the door feels like an accomplishment! šŸŽ’šŸ˜‚

Our very first official test batch is complete, and weā€™re so excited to share that it was a huge success! šŸŽ‰

Every dream starts with a single step, and today our dream became just a little more real.

Made with our handcrafted Ship Island Vanilla Bean Cake and our silky Ship Island Vanilla Bean Buttercream, then dipped in a premium white chocolate shell and finished with elegant handcrafted coastal chocolate dƩcor.
