We are keeping an eye on the storm check the page for closers or shortened hours!!

ISAIAS looks poised to go into a rapid strengthening phase over the next 24 hours. Hurricane hunters are reporting good pressure falls and we’ll likely wake up to a hurricane by morning.

I’m still feeling good in Louisiana as everything points to a miss to the east. Residents from Mississippi to Alabama and the Florida Panhandle need to be preparing for hurricane impacts. There will be a weakening phase on approach but it won’t be rapid enough to eliminate the threats from storm surge, flooding rains and hurricane gusts.

The greatest concern for SE LA will be coastal flooding, a gusty wind Friday and some passing tropical rain bands. The weekend looks just fine!
