It’s with great sadness that our dear friend Mary Nichols has passed away! She was a manager here at Jim’s BBQ for many years until she retired. We will miss her laughter and guidance. Praying for all the family and friends that knew her! Her obituary is under Martins Funeral Home, Clanton. I have received many texts, and with our younger crew working, we should be able to remain open at the restaurant while the rest of us can attend services. Many years with this amazing lady! She will be deeply missed by so many.

A few announcements today:: This Saturday we have ALOT of fish plates going out, so we will be offering it to all of you on Saturday as well/ from 2:00 until closing or until we run out.
Next: I want to honor my Dad (Jim) August 18th( Monday) on his would be 98th birthday. He went to his heavenly home 21 years ago, so from 11:00 to 4:00 we are running our Baby bbq for 98cents!!!! What???? That’s right 👀If you knew him, he would be saying that I’ve lost my mind! But all of us miss him and what better way to say Happy Birthday!
LABOR DAY: we will be open from 9:00 until 2:00. We already have 150 butts going out, so please try to place your order in as soon as possible to make sure your on the list, Ribs and Chicken will be available also. With the weather update: 5 of 5 risk, I think it’s better if we close tomorrow, Saturday , March 15th . Sorry for any inconvenience but it’s a call to insure employees are home safe with family! Please be safe and aware of the weather!

Merry Christmas from the ladies here at Jim’s Barbecue!! Just a reminder that we close tonight at 8:00 and we will be closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so we can spend time with our families! We are so blessed to have been able to serve you another year and we will open back up December 26th. Stay safe and have a wonderful Christmas!
