Stella was more than a name on our door — she was the heart, the recipes, and the spirit of this place. Alongside her beloved husband of 66 years, James "Ziggy" Ziegler, she built Stella's Kitchen & Bakery into a Billings institution in 1984. The cinnamon rolls you love, the breakfasts you've shared with family for generations, the feeling of being welcomed like one of her own — all of it began with Stella and Ziggy. They believed in good food, in second chances, and in treating every person who walked through her doors like family.

Her legacy lives on in every meal we serve and in every member of our team who carries her warmth forward.

In her honor, Stella's Kitchen & Bakery will close early at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 23rd, so our staff may attend her funeral Mass and say goodbye to the woman who started it all — our namesake, our founder, and a cherished friend to so many.

We thank you for your understanding, and we invite you to join us in keeping Stella, Ziggy, and the entire Ziegler family in your hearts.
