🥪 Let's Talk About Working at Biglerville Subway!
After my post last night, I realized that maybe the wording came across a little differently than I intended. So let me try this again, person to person.
We're not looking for superstars, perfectionists, or people who have their entire lives figured out. We're looking for people who want to come to work, do a good job, and feel that they're being paid fairly for the work they do.
We're in the food industry, so cleanliness, proper food preparation, and keeping our ingredients fresh are things we take seriously. We want our customers to leave happy, our food to be something we're proud of, and our team to be able to count on each other.
Now, let's talk about weekends.
Yes, weekend availability is required. No, we're not asking you to give up every weekend or spend your entire life at Subway! We're currently having trouble filling our Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts, particularly during the daytime. All we're asking is that you're available to help out on at least one of those days at least once a month. That's it. We're looking for a little flexibility and teamwork, not your entire social calendar.
At the end of the day, this is a pretty straightforward job. We make sandwiches, serve customers, keep things clean, and help each other get through the day. We're not saving lives here, but we do take pride in doing our jobs right.
What can we offer you?
- A friendly team and a generally easygoing work environment.
- Straightforward work with training provided.
- Opportunities to learn, take on more responsibility, and grow with us.
- Performance-based opportunities for raises as you develop your skills and work ethic.
- Bonuses available.
- A chance to be part of a store that's always looking to improve and do better.
I'm not expecting everyone to be perfect. People have bad days, life happens, and things don't always go according to plan. What matters is that we communicate, treat each other with respect, pull our weight, and work together instead of against each other.
I'm looking for people who take some pride in what they do, care about the people they work with, and understand that a good team makes everyone's job easier.
If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, we'd love to meet you!
