If you’re walking around Fringe Fest this Friday - we will have our Washington Street doors open for a tiny sneak peek and a couple games set to free play.
Come say hi! We’ve missed you 🖤

We want Fringe to be a welcoming, accessible event for as many people as possible.

A few things to know about accessibility at Fringe:

- Accessible parking is available nearby.

- The festival takes place along Washington Street, with some areas of pavement and street surfaces that may be uneven.

- Seating will be available throughout the festival area for anyone who needs to take a break.

- Service animals are welcome.

- If you have an accessibility question or need an accommodation, please reach out to us before the festival and we'll do our best to help.

- If you need a quieter place to take a break during the festival, please contact us in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Sensory considerations: Fringe is a lively street festival with amplified music, including some louder electronic performances. One performance will also feature spinning lights/visual effects. If you are sensitive to sound, crowds, or flashing/moving lights, please keep this in mind when planning your visit.

This community support means everything 🫶🏻👾

Just a reminder, this fee is only due every 15 years. But, because relocating was the only way we could survive - we have to pay it again.

$14,800 for a small business in the span of a single year is insane to ask.

The retro-style arcade is in the process of moving from Main Street to Washington Street. Owner Casi Buckman said having to pay several thousand dollars for the 2nd time in about a year would be very difficult.

Don’t be like Chris. 🛑😂

We’re not out of business… we’re just moving. Actually just a few streets down, closer to the center of downtown!

As of today, everything is officially out of Main Street. It’s weird. It’s a relief. It’s bittersweet. But honestly? We’re just so excited for what’s next.

Now we get to the fun part + are starting to build this place into something special.

The kitchen and bar are getting a complete redesign so ordering actually makes sense, we’ll have bar seating, more room to hang out, and we’re expanding the food menu too.

And the games? They already look SO GOOD in this space.

Our Planning Board review is August 18, so until then we’ll be painting, building, cleaning games, fixing games, making things unnecessarily nerdy, and probably surviving on little sleep and too much caffeine.

We’ll keep posting updates and little sneak peeks as we go. We seriously can’t wait to show you all what we’re building.

Heya Rift Nerds, Casi here 💁🏻‍♀️
It’s officially our last day at 311 Main Street.

First of all… please come hang out with us in this building one last time!

Second of all… please help me move less stuff. 😂
Seriously.

We’re trying to run through as much food and drink inventory as we can before we pack everything up, so if we’re out of something today… that’s actually the goal. ‼️Please be patient with us while we attempt to avoid moving 47 cases of soda and every random decor item and memento known to mankind.

We’ve still got plenty of games, plenty of prizes, and we’d love nothing more than to see this place full one last time.

A few quick FAQs because they’ve already been asked 507x:

🎟️ Your ticket receipts are safe! Save them! They will be honored when we reopen.
💳 Gift cards aren’t going anywhere either. All will still be valid upon reopening.
💜 Members: your memberships will be paused AS OF TODAY & will pick right back up when we reopen. That way you’re not losing any time you’ve paid for between now and then.
🛑 No, we don’t have a reopening date yet. There are a lot of moving pieces with permits etc. We will keep construction and occupancy updates coming as best we can!
💸 All games will remain at a quarter at the new location. My main goal was to stay downtown, and not raise our prices. Rift was built on accessibility and fun - for all.
👀 Yes, we will have more games too! Another skeeball lane, more pinball, and a couple other surprises too! If there’s games you wanna see… I wanna know!

Anywhoooo, this building gave Rift its start, while the building itself has been a huge challenge, I’m so incredibly grateful for every person who’s walked through these doors over the last year.

Now come help me say goodbye to our birthplace with games, laughter, a little chaos… and hopefully a lot fewer things for me to pack. 😂🤙🏻🫶🏻

Sooo remember when… 💜🎮

…Well…

The quarter thing seems to be working out. 🪙❤️

Because here’s the thing…

Rift was never built to be the most profitable arcade.
It was built to be your place.

A place to belong.
A place to decompress after a long day.
A place where your kids could make memories.
A place where first dates, birthday parties, trivia nights, tournaments, and random Thursday nights all felt equally important.
A place where being a little weird wasn’t just accepted, it was embraced.

Turns out…

People were looking for that all along.
So…

We don’t have to keep the secret any longer!

👾 More games (and yes… we’re already planning what comes next).

🏙️ Right in the heart of downtown.

This isn’t just a new location.
It’s the Rift we’ve been working toward since day one.

We don’t have an opening date yet. We’ve got walls to paint, games to move, food to perfect, and a whole lot of magic to build.

But when those doors open…
