The three hundred year old estate, "Whitebriar", is a stucco eddifice, known as the "logo" for the family business' of it's past. The Harry VanSciver Family, lived here and used the side entrance to the house as the entrance to their "banking" venture, later creating the "Beverly Building and Loan, 10 blocks down the street in their own building. Bill and Carole Moore, purchased the 3 apartment estate from the VanScivers whose friendship began at WWII when Florence and Bill Moore (Bill's parents" brought infant Bill to "Whitebriar's back apartment", while Dad went off to war. Decades later when Carole & Bill Married, and were living in an apartment in Riverside,, The Van Scivers offered them Whitebriar, on the night that the VanSciver Grand Father passed away. An agreement of sale, allowed the estate of H Vansciver, to avoid tax ramifications. The Beverly building and Loan which was founded in the side room (office) of Mr. VanSciver, is where Carole and Bill made their mortgage payments of $109.54, in 1968....now the family home of William, Carole, Carrie, Lizzie, Michaela, Kyle, Colin Morgan who have shared many fun memories at this 300 year old home, now a NJ Licensed Farm (2020), having returned to the farm that the VanScivers owned long before the cemetery condemned the property for eminant domaine.
