Today isn’t about cookouts, sales, or long weekends.
Memorial Day is about the men and women who never made it home. The ones who traded birthdays, holidays, future plans, and quiet moments with family for something bigger than themselves.
Freedom has a cost. It always has.
So while we’re serving food and lemonade today, we also pause to remember the empty seats at dinner tables across this country. The folded flags. The names etched into stone. The families carrying a weight most of us will never fully understand.
Please take a moment today to remember why this day exists.
We honor the fallen. We remember the sacrifice. And we never take it for granted.
