A special thank you to the Long Island Herald for sharing this story and what this honor means to me.

Wantagh has been home my entire life, and I’m proud to be part of a community that has given me and my family so much over the years.

I’m looking forward to representing Wantagh as Grand Marshal and celebrating with everyone at the 2027 St. Patrick’s Day Parade! ☘️🇮🇪

Gus Tsiorvas, owner of the Embassy Diner and a lifelong Wantagh resident, was named grand marshal of Wantagh’s 2027 St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

I’m incredibly honored to be named the 2027 Grand Marshal of the Wantagh St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Being born and raised in Wantagh, this community has always meant so much to me. I’m truly grateful to the Wantagh Chamber of Commerce for this honor, and I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone on Sunday, March 14, 2027.

See you at the parade!

In Episode 79, CJ and Tanner are joined by Gus Tsiorvas, owner of the Embassy Diner. Gus grew up in the restaurant business, watching his father build the Oconee Diner from the ground up. He took the lessons he learned from his father and used them to build one of Long Island’s most recognizable diners. Gus shares the values his father instilled in him, the hard work and dedication it takes to succeed in the restaurant business, and the story behind building America’s Most Patriotic Diner.

The Parm Fathers came to America’s most patriotic diner, The Embassy Diner, and tried to order salad and water… Gus had other plans. Chicken parm all around: crispy, saucy, cheesy, and officially Parm Fathers approved. ✅
