Next month’s 3rd in the Burg will be on Friday, August 21 - but we’re still thinking about July’s event!

Downtown Harrisburg was popping: the 4th Annual Harrisburg Fringe Festival, the opening reception for Carrie Wissler-Thomas’s “A Lyrical Journey” at the Art Association of Harrisburg, dinner at Crispy Halal, and drinks at Agape Elixir Bar and the new Madame Rochéle's Apothecary (featuring readings from The Plant Witch)!

Harrisburg truly has something for everyone, and the crowds on 2nd Street last Friday were proof. Come explore, and discover Pennsylvania’s capital city for yourself!

Did you know? Crispy Halal held their soft opening last week on Friday, June 12!

Located at 209 N. 2nd Street, their menu offers gyros, platters, crispy tenders, and more. We were eager to order a chicken gyro (with fries and white sauce) for lunch today, and they did NOT disappoint! 😋 Delicious, flavorful, and fresh, with generous portions... we will most certainly be back again!

Crispy Halal is open seven days a week, and will be open until 3 a.m. on weekends for the late-night crowd. It’s a perfectly convenient lunch option, with online ordering and takeout.
