"Le'" meaning "the" in French and "Mu" meaning "Pig" in Laotion reflect Chef Sav's classical training via the Culinary Institute of Virginia and his heritage as a Lao-American. "Mu" is the family nickname Sav was given since childhood; a term of endearment, he was called "mu noi" meaning little pig. Sav no longer dons the "noi" (little) part, but has since, handed down the loving surname to his daughter...making the "mu" in our name that much more special

8 years ago we moved into the
We've recently returned to our private dining roots (forever with the side quests) and there has been a lot of reminiscing about the start of our Western Maine chapter of Le Mu history as a private dining experience run out of our own home. The move into our little food trailer was such a big step and feels like just yesterday (and an entire lifetime ago).
