A year has now passed since the Kafe has closed. Sandy and I (Chad) still run into some of the regulars we had the pleasure of getting to know over the years. We just want to thank you all for taking a moment to say hello and especially your compliments to what I still consider one of the best breakfast places I've ever eaten at or had the opportunity to cook. Also one of the most kick ass fish frys ever (especially the potato salad and noodle salads).
Thanks for being part of our lives.

Hello and good evening to all of you, the likes of the retired Kinda Kountry Kafe. So, in case you are wondering who is posting this, it is I, Chad, the cook that spent many, many Fish Fry Friday's with you.
And now I am right along with you thinking "Ugh, I could go for a Kinda Kountry fish fry right now. But we all know the sad reality is thats not possible. So, since I've spent my Fridays cooking it instead of eating it, I ask you this... Where's your new favorite spot for Fish Fry? Throw your opinion here and maybe we can all help each other find what to me was definitely One Of The BEST Damn Fish Fries on the gogebic range.
And thanks again for your years of compliments and complaints (yes the complaints too, not as if there were many though, cuz that's what kept us on our toes).

Closing Update:
We have decided that our final day of service will be Saturday, March 26th., so that we can allow ourselves ample time to clear out years of accumulation.

It saddens us to inform you that Kinda Kountry Kafe will be closing it's doors on March 31st.
It's been a great run through the years and we appreciate you all, our valued customers.
Be sure to keep watch for a new and exciting business coming to the location.
Until then it's business as usual and we hope to see you come and enjoy your favorite omelet, salad, or one last Fish Fry.
Again, thank you for making the years memorable for us all.
