Thank you.
After a lot of conversations, thoughts, and soul-searching, Jordi and I have made the difficult decision to close Mixed 'N Mashed. Our last day of service will be this Saturday.
Starting this business has been one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. We've met incredible people, served amazing communities, and felt more support than we ever imagined. To everyone who came out for a bowl of mashed potatoes, invited us to your brewery or event, shared our posts, or simply cheered us on—thank you. You made this dream real.
Ultimately, this decision came down to priorities.
Running a food truck demands long days, nights, weekends, and constant attention. As our family grows, I've realized I can't be the husband and father I want to be while giving the business what it needs to succeed. With another little one on the way, that became even clearer.
At the same time, inflation has continued to drive up the cost of everything. To keep the business going, we would have to raise prices to a level that no longer aligns with the kind of affordable, satisfying meals we set out to serve. That's not a compromise we're willing to make.
While this chapter is ending, we don't see it as a failure. We took a chance, built something from nothing, learned more than we ever expected, and made memories we'll carry with us for the rest of our lives.
If you've been meaning to stop by one last time, we'd love to see you this Saturday. We'd love the opportunity to say thank you in person and serve you one last bowl.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in us.
