A lot of you have been asking over the past few months about The Berryville Grille Cookbook, so I wanted to share a little update.

I’m happy to say the project is moving forward.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be going through our original handwritten recipe cards, old photos, and memories to preserve a little piece of the Berryville Grille for everyone who loved eating there or worked alongside us.

This cookbook isn’t just about recipes—it’s about the people, the stories, and the years we spent serving our community.

One page in particular means a great deal to me. The book will be dedicated to my brother, Frederick McClemens, who was there from the very beginning. His hard work, dedication, and friendship helped make the Berryville Grille what it became, and I want his memory to be a part of this project forever.

I’d love for all of you to be part of this journey.

If you have an old photo from the Berryville Grille, a favorite memory, or a dish you always ordered, share it in the comments. I’d love to hear your stories, and some may even be featured in the cookbook (with your permission).

Thank you all for the years of support. Even though the doors have closed, the memories—and soon the recipes—live on.

Stay tuned… there’s much more to come. ❤️

Happy Father’s Day from the Berryville Grille family ❤️

Today feels especially meaningful as I share this treasured photo of my father and grandfather — two men whose strength, sacrifice, and love helped shape generations.

This picture reminds me that a father’s legacy isn’t just found in big moments… it’s built in everyday sacrifices, quiet strength, hard work, and showing up when it matters most.

To my dad — thank you for everything you’ve taught me, for the love you’ve shown, and for the example you continue to set.

And to all fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures — we honor you today.

From our family to yours, Happy Father’s Day.
