ROOM SPOTLIGHT | Room 20: The Richard Gere Room
Hollywood came to Berlin in 1998, and one of its stars checked into the Atlantic Hotel.
We call Room 20 the “Richard Gere Room” because it served as the room for Richard Gere’s character, Ike Graham, in Runaway Bride. During one memorable scene, Maggie Carpenter (Julia Roberts) sneaks into the room to search through Ike’s notes before making a quick escape.
Today, Room 20 still welcomes guests looking to experience a little piece of movie history. While the cameras have long since packed up, the room’s historic charm and timeless character remain just as inviting.
