One month in. Before we opened BnP, we spent years obsessing over every little detail. The food, the space, the music, the experience. But there was still one big question we couldn’t answer…

Would anyone actually show up?

Well, you did. And we’re still blown away.

Seeing familiar faces come back again and again has been one of the coolest parts of this whole thing. Some of you have even come in multiple times in the same day (no judgment… honestly, we respect it)

So we thought it would be fun to share some stats:

Buns & Patties: One Month By The Numbers

🍔 Patties smashed: 23,396
(if stacked on top of each other, they’d reach 975 feet, taller than the Renaissance Center by over 250 feet!)

🍔 Gallons of secret burger sauce made: 307
(enough to fill about 6 standard bathtubs)

🍦 Sundaes swirled: 1,713

👟 Average steps per shift: 18,000

⭐️ 5-star reviews received: 133

😴 Hours of sleep lost: Too many

And while this first month has been amazing, it hasn’t been perfect. We’ve made mistakes, learned a ton, and we’re working every single day to get better.

Online ordering is coming soon and we’re working hard to reopen Mondays ASAP.

We’ve been open for nearly a month and we’re reflecting back on the construction days.

This is a 3rd generation restaurant space (previously Taco Bell and Tubby’s) so this space has a lot of history….and a lot of built up grime, so we had to completely gut the place.

The design and build out stages were intense. We had to get creative with to figure out a way to make this tiny space work. Along the way there so many hiccups and challenges and although it took forever, we’re really happy with the way it turned out. And it’s surreal for us to finally have a real space where friends meet up, where families grab dinner, where someone after a long shift drops in for a bite to eat, just like we always hoped and imagined.

Thanks for joining us this past month. We’re just getting started.

Most places put a vegetarian option on their menu because they feel like they have to. We did it because we wanted to. We put the same time, care and attention into this as everything else on the menu.

Our falafel smash burger; house made falafel, pickled onions, crispy cucumbers, tomato, lettuce and our house made, creamy feta yogurt sauce.

Available lunch, dinner, and late night.

A quick update from us ❤️🍔

Starting this week, we’ll be temporarily closing on Mondays as we adjust to the incredible (and honestly unbelievable) support you’ve all shown us.

When we opened out doors, we never expected volume like this. You’ve shown up in a way that has completely blown us away, and we’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve each and every one you.

That said, we’ve serving more guests than we have the storage capacity for. We never want to be in a position where we’re constantly running out or where we can’t give every guest the food, service, and experience they deserve.

So for now, we’re taking Mondays to reset, restock, prep, and make sure we’re ready to serve you at our best the rest of the week.

This is temporary, and we fully plan on bringing Mondays back soon.

To everyone who has waited in line, told a friend, brought your family, shared a post, or stopped in for a burger… thank you. Truly.

We built Buns & Patties to be a neighborhood spot, and this community has made us feel at home faster than we could have ever imagined.

Short Rib Grilled Cheese. Available daily until sold out.

The short rib is braised in house every day over night (we cook off as much short rib as we can fit in our oven), served on sourdough with our house blend of cheeses, pickled onion and giardiniera.

Get one before they’re gone.

Build our smash burger with us. Two perfectly smashed well seasoned patties, American cheese, diced onions, sweet and spicy pickles () , secret sauce, and a potato bun.

We’re back open for normal service hours today! Open 11am - 1am tonight. Pull up hungry. 🍟

We sold out. In our first two days, we did more volume than we expected to do in an entire week. We served nearly 1,000 smash burgers.

First and foremost, thank you. The support from the community has blown us away.

At the same time, we know running out of food and having to close early isn’t acceptable, and we take that seriously. We’re already making adjustments behind the scenes to make sure we’re better prepared moving forward.

Unfortunately, because most of our vendors don’t deliver on Sundays, we’ll be closed Sunday (5/17) and Monday (5/18) so we can fully restock and prep.

We expect to reopen Tuesday the 19th for regular hours, and we’ll keep everyone updated if anything changes.

Thanks for sticking with us and for showing up for us in such a massive way.

We’re opening our restaurant tomorrow, and we just want to take a moment thank everyone who helped us get here. To our friends and family, thank you for your unrelenting love and support. To our construction and design teams, thank you for taking a chance on us when others didn’t. To our investor, thank you for believing in the vision. To our eager guests, excited to visit, thank you for cheering us on and for sticking with us this whole time.
