hey ya'll! we are supporting this virtual event to support Gregory Johnson's family which starts on Fri. 2/19. Gregory Johnson's story is yet another tragic example of a young Black like taken too soon. please check out & and stay tuned for more info about the event!

"Gregory’s Jam will be both a celebration of Gregory’s life and a fundraiser for the Johnson family. 100% of the funds raised from this event will go toward the Johnson family’s expenses related to their fight for justice, including the cost of legal fees. The Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office contacted Mrs. Johnson to let her know they are re-examining Gregory’s case. This progress in Gregory’s case is possible because of the support that students and so many others have shown for the family. Follow & for updates on this event. SAVE THE DATE: 2/19-20/21 3PM"

kittyboo got your attention? excellent cuz we could use your support! we're way behind on sharing that we received a loan from Kiva which we're hoping to use in order to switch to using compostable bags for our coffee beans. we need two more private (community) donors before our loan is shared with the public to help reach our goal of $6000.

thanks to everyone who has stopped by the cafe since we reopened! we're so grateful to be able to continue doing what we love and serve up that good good amidst these uncertain & heartbreaking times. we really can't do it without ya'll!💓🙏🏾🥰
