Return 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant to St. Louis MO

Return 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant to St. Louis MO This page is to stir interest in the community and abroad that St. Louis MO lost a great restaurant years ago in an airport expansion and we want it back!

On Feb 16, 2003 a great resturant closed their doors in the St. Louis area. Located next to Lambert International Airport at 5933 James S McDonnell Blvd. The resturant opened in 1973 and during an expansion of the airport the building fell inside the expansion boarders. Since the closing the building was torn down and very little has been done. The resturant had a great atmosphere with an old tave

rn decor and alot of WW1. The aviation-themed country French restaurant evokes nostalgia for the World War I era. It's decorated with photographs, artifacts and replicas evoking the legendary Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker and his 94th Aero Squadron. The decor made you feel you had stepped out of the present day and were suddenly in a movie. What also made the resturant so great was the view. Windows ran along the side facing the airport, you could actually watch planes land and take off!
