Okay, we made it! 🎉

Today is the OFFICIAL last day of the 2025-2026 school year for Morgan County Schools and THAT is definitely a reason to celebrate! 🍕🎓

From early mornings and homework to sports, testing, concerts, projects, and everything in between, students, faculty, and staff have worked incredibly hard all year long. Now it’s finally time to kick back, relax, and celebrate making it to SUMMER BREAK in the most LEGENDARY way possible.

😳 Well… this was a surprise!

We were scrolling along today and suddenly realized that West Virginia Tourism featured Mythical Pizza… and honestly, we had absolutely NO idea this was happening until now!! 😂🍕👣

Seriously, what an incredible honor to see our little cryptid-themed pizza shop in Berkeley Springs highlighted like this. From Mothman Cream Soda to crazy custom pizzas, merch, and all the weirdness in between, it means the world to us that people continue to notice what the Mythical Crew is building here in this amazing community! ❤️

When Mythical Pizza opened back in 2022, the goal was simple: create something fun, welcoming, creative, and completely different for our small town. Seeing something like THIS pop up from West Virginia Tourism is one of those moments that honestly stops us in our tracks.

To everyone that has supported us, shared posts, visited from out of town, brought friends, ordered pizza, bought merch, or simply told someone about us… THANK YOU. None of this happens without this community behind us!! 🍕🖤

It’s time for another Customer Review Highlight, and this one has us feeling ALL the feelings......... 🥹🍕 (*sniff* .. is someone cutting onions?? 😭)

Tierra shared that Mythical Pizza catered her wedding in 2024, and that the pizza was a huge hit! Not just lunch Not just dinner. Not just a “hey, let’s grab some pizza” moment. A WEDDING!! 💍

That is someone’s big day. Their family. Their friends. Their memories. Their celebration. And Tierra had US cater it?! Seriously, what an absolute honor! 🥹

We are so grateful that the wedding party trusted the Mythical Crew to be part of such a special day, and we love hearing that their family still looks forward to pizza night with us whenever they are back in the area. That kind of support means more than we can put into words!

We had fresh concrete poured outside in the new patio area to get everything ready for the upcoming warm weather… and apparently SOME big hairy (and probably very smelly 👀) cryptid decided it was the perfect time to leave behind evidence of his visit…….

We’re pretty sure that footprint definitely wasn’t there before… and nobody on the Mythical Crew is claiming responsibility. 😂🍕

Huge shoutout to Stambaugh Contracting, LLC for doing an absolutely LEGENDARY job on this beautiful new concrete addition to the patio area! Now we just have to figure out how to explain the mysterious Sasquatch activity around the restaurant… 👣🔥

And the BEST part? Today is officially the LAST rainy day in the forecast (at least until next week 😎). That means sunshine, adventures, patio weather, road trips, and cryptid hunting season are almost back on the menu!! 🌤️🛸🌲

Memorial Day is more than just the beginning of summer. It is a day of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance for those who gave everything so future generations could live in freedom.

To all Gold Star families, veterans, active military, and those carrying the memory of loved ones lost in service, our community stands with you today. As we gather with friends and family this weekend, let us never forget the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness of the heroes who made those moments possible.

And yes… technically we count Penne Pasta as a “veggie” topping because… uhh… wheat grows from the ground, right? 😂
