Dick’s Bakery in Berea has been grateful to spread Date-Nut cheer for over 70 years. We were hopeful to keep our doors open and continue the legacy of our father, Dick Baker. However, as we are now 67 and 68 years old, ongoing health issues have impacted our decision to retire.
We do have new owners in place who have been training with us, and our hope is that the sale goes through so the bakery can continue on. That is why we are waiting to reopen—we simply cannot continue on our own anymore.
Thank you for always supporting the Baker family and for the love you have shown our bakery and community over the years. ❤️
