As many of you know, we left 8th Street Market but don’t worry, we’re not leaving NWA! 🙌🏼
We’re officially under contract on a building, and we can’t wait to share more details as soon as we can. This is a huge undertaking that reaches far beyond just us. We’re partnering with some of the most incredible, kind-hearted people, and I truly can’t wait to tell you more as everything comes together.🤍
Like the video says… we’re terrified. We’re beyond excited. We’re so exhausted we can’t see straight most days. 😂 And yes, we ask ourselves almost daily if we’re completely crazy.
But every time we reflect on the calling to serve those with different needs, we’re humbled beyond words to be a small part of something so much bigger than ourselves.
The ice cream was never just about sugar, milk, or treats. It has always been about creating opportunities.
It has always been about building a full life filled with purpose, responsibilities, friendships, coworkers, and customers. It’s about learning the challenges and joys of adulthood within the safety of a community that understands neurodiversity. It’s about celebrating victories, recognizing capabilities, working through hard moments, and making sure no one has to do it alone.
We started this business for our son. What has surprised us most is discovering how many others in our community are searching for the very same opportunities. It’s been heartbreaking to turn people away from something our son has been blessed to experience due to our tiny trailer size.
So… we’re doing something about it.
