This weekend we made our way to the locally famous BuzzBQ put on by 103.7 THE BUZZ in Little Rock Arkansas and like always, this contest did not disappoint. From the teams, to the atmosphere, to how smooth everything runs, this is one we always look forward to every year.

Started the weekend off Friday night cooking crawfish and hanging out with friends. 🔥🦞

Cook went pretty smooth for us and we were lucky enough to hear our name called a few times.

7th place Chicken 🐔
2nd place Ribs 🐖
1st place Pork 🐷

Those calls were enough to land us Reserve Grand Champion 🏆

Huge congratulations to everyone who heard their name called and especially Mickey Lindsey that walked away with GRAND CHAMPION🔥

Big thanks to everyone involved with Buzz BQ for putting on such a great contest year after year. Y’all run one of the best contests around 👏

A couple weeks ago we got a last minute call about an open spot at Smoke on the Shores BBQ Championship in Lebanon TN. Didn’t take much convincing… we loaded up and hit the road.

Didn’t go like we wanted on the turn-ins and we didn’t hear our name called, but that’s part of it. Still grateful to be there cooking with some top notch teams. And I can’t wait to go back!

Highlight of the weekend was getting to watch one of my closest bbq friends (and my big brother🤣) walk the stage and take Grand Champion 🔥🏆. I couldn’t have been more happier for them!

Congratulations to everyone else who heard their names at this contest, that’s a huge accomplishment🔥

A HUGE congrats to Razorracks BBQ on GC and Kith n’ Kin Competition BBQ on RGC! Well deserved all the way around 👏

We’ll clean it up and get ready for the next one.

This weekend we made the trip up to Fayetteville AR to cook a great contest with some really good teams. Always enjoy getting to spend the weekend with friends and being around some of the best cooks out there.

Unfortunately this one just wasn’t our weekend. Sometimes the BBQ gods humble you a little and that’s just part of the game. We’ll take what we learned, get back home, and get ready for the next one.

Got home from work and I had a couple boxes full of goodies at the door! 🔥 Sure is a beautiful sight 😍 Gulf Coast Smokes new cherry pineapple glaze is 1000x better than I could have ever expected. I can not wait to fire up the smoker 🔥

Man oh man what a year of bbq. I only completed in 11 contest this year but was lucky enough to place in each one of them and I even GC’ed A few. I cannot wait to see what 2026 will bring team Bad Dog Bbq 🔥

🎄🎄Merry Christmas!! 🎁🎁
Man does it feel so good to light the smoker up. I was kinda nervous that I forgot how too😂 I smoked some hams last night for our big family Christmas and then I smoked a brisket today for our personal Christmas meal. Everything turned out great, Gulf Coast Smoke seasonings make that easy tho 🤤
I hope everyone is having a great holiday 🔥
