The Cheese Boarder Co is slowly making its way back. 🦋

After taking time away to mourn and grieve the loss of my best friend, my one true love-my husband, I’m slowly finding my way back to something that has always brought me so much joy.

I will always grieve Jamie. I will always miss him. But I know he would want me back in the cheese shop, creating something beautiful and doing the passion project he watched me pour my heart into. So, little by little, I’m beginning again. 🥹🧀

I’m now open to taking a limited number of orders as I ease back in. Thank you for your patience, grace, love, and continued support—it means more than you know. 💕

To my valued clients, future clients, and supporters of The Cheese Boarder Co.,

I wanted to take a moment to share a personal update and set expectations for the coming weeks and months.

Many of you know that my husband, Jamie, has been courageously battling Stage IV metastatic melanoma for the past four years. Recently, we received news that his cancer has progressed and spread to his brain, resulting in a whirlwind of appointments, treatments, scans, and travel as we navigate the next phase of his care.

As a wife, my first priority right now is making sure he has everything he needs, gets to every appointment, and has the support and care he deserves. While I remain committed to serving my clients and continuing to create the grazing experiences you know and love, there may be times when my response times are slower than usual or when I need to temporarily limit availability based on treatment schedules and medical needs.

At this time:
🧀 All currently booked orders will be fulfilled as planned.
🧀 I am still accepting new orders.
🧀 I kindly request at least one week’s notice whenever possible.
🧀 Please allow up to 72 hours for responses to emails, messages, DMs, and voicemails.

I appreciate your patience, understanding, and grace during this season. Small businesses are often family businesses, and right now my family needs me a little more than usual.

From graduations to baby showers to bridal celebrations… this weekend was FULL of color, creativity and beautiful moments worth gathering around. 💕

Every board, tray and grazing setup that leaves our kitchen is handcrafted with intention — layered with fresh ingredients, bold flavors and all the little details that make people stop and say “okay wait… this is TOO pretty to eat.” (But trust us… they do 😏)

Mother’s Day feels a little different when you’re a small business owner… because behind so many small businesses is a village of women holding everything together. 💐

Today I’m celebrating all of the moms — the ones raising babies, grown kids, businesses, families, dreams, and somehow still showing up for everyone around them. The multitasking, the sacrifices, the unconditional love, the behind-the-scenes work that so often goes unseen… moms truly are magic. 🤍

To my clients — thank you. Thank you for supporting my small business, trusting me with your gatherings, celebrations, showers, holidays, and special moments. So many of you are incredible mothers yourselves, and I’m endlessly grateful for every order, share, recommendation, and word of encouragement along the way.

And a very special thank you to my mom and my mother-in-law… two women who step in constantly to help make this business possible.
