I'd like to chat about KIMCHI for a bit. I have recently added it to my (almost) daily diet and would like to make it instead of purchasing.

First off if you've never heard of Kimchi it is a fermented vegetable 'relish'. It typically contains some spices that are a tad 'warming'. I have it next to my egg scramble on my breakfast plate featured here. It can be found on a lot of Buddha bowls. I also top chicken breast with it or add it to a salad.

For those familiar with it, have you made it or just purchased it?
If purchased-- what's your favorite one?
If you've made it- is it tricky or difficult?

I will put photos of the one I currently purchased from Natural Grocers in the commies.

Napa cabbage is the first ingredient followed by Daikon radish. Does it have to be Daikon or can I substitute regular radish??
I 👀 that Aunt Beez Greenhouse has many of the ingredients available. I'll be placing an order. 👏

If you haven't had Kimchi, would you be willing to try it?

Here's the delightful salad for Monday June 8th❗️
Dinner sized CHEF SALAD featuring roasted Turkey breast( roasted by yours truly), hard boiled eggs, shredded cheddar, tomatoes, cucumbers and bacon on assorted lettuces. (Truly there's lettuce under all the goodness.) Ranch, Vinagrette, 1000 Island, or french dressing. GF 14.40 plus tax.

🍞 Ham, cheddar and chive scones! Enjoy it with your salad, with scrambled eggs, or just solo! 2 for 4.75 plus tax. Order gluten-free 2 for 5.50 plus tax.

📙 If you are inspired to order, the deadline is FRIDAY June 5th at 6pm. This will ensure that I have enough time to roast the correct amount of turkey breasts.

Wow the week went fast-- and hot! The holiday weeks always throw me off. How about you??
