It is with mixed feelings that Janet, Jerry, and I bid adieu to our old friend, Fryer Truck. Its new owner took possession last weekend and it is headed to the Cape where it will be host to a wing and fry style menu. If the new owner has half as much fun as we had, he's in for quite a time! We want to thank you all again for your patronage during the summers of 2018 and 2019, and we hope you are remaining healthy during this crazy time. I will be deleting this page soon, but wanted to share the end chapter of Fryer Truck in Bennington, and the new beginning for the lucky man on the Cape and his patrons to come. We wish him lots of luck and many great times. Many thanks again, and peace to all.

Dear Fryer Truck Patrons - we post this with a heavy heart. We will not be opening this year, or any year gong forward. Owners Janet & Jerry Willis have decided to concentrate on their full time endeavors, and I am returning to real estate. The food trailer we called home for 2 summers is for sale. Please reach out to me privately to get more information about that. Thank you for your amazing patronage and enthusiasm as we learned how to serve you from the confines of a food trailer. I so loved being there with and for you, watching and learning about the eagles across the street, being witness to the craziness that a business located on Rt. 202 provided a front row seat to, and even navigating the ever-changing weather.

Peace to all of you. And thank you again. We will miss you.
Connie

Thank you all so much for an amazing last night, and an incredibly fun and busy (overall) Season 2. We always had so much to watch and do and talk about out there in our "cage" on super busy Rte 202...there were eagles and eaglets, tons of cool vehicles including a blue Bentley, so many interesting loads on trucks like windmill pieces or boulders, shrink-wrapped boats, mega expensive massive campers, more log trucks than the state has trees, and near-miss accidents, too, to keep us on our toes. We had so much fun visiting with our regulars and with meeting newcomers. Our second year was pretty good overall, and we all thank you for your friendship and patronage. We wish you all a safe and healthy winter, and thank goodness we have some extra unsold stock to transition us into the winter routine. And since many ask, Janet, Jerry and myself are local and will resume our other work schedules here (not in Florida, as many assume) outside of Fryer Truck, and look forward to seeing you all next spring (date tbd). Thank you all again.

We have 15 days left to our season, so come on down on this lucky Friday-the-13th and have some fresh haddock. We have it in the form of dinners with fries or onion rings and Cole slaw, a sandwich, or fish tacos with a lime crema. If haddock isn't your thing, we have fresh whole belly clams and huge sweet scallops. Beef eaters don't be shy, as we also have 1/2 lb. burgers and steak and cheese sandwiches.

We keep hearing people say it's their first time here. Come on down now as you have the whole winter for whatever else you do. :) 15 days....that's 13 open truck days.

Lunch: 11:30-1:30
Dinner: 4:30-7:00 (earlier now due to darkness etc.)
Saturdays dinner only
Sunday closed

You just can't fake this kind of back drop to our casual alfresco dining. We have 21 days left, and we open at 4:30 for dinner tonight. Let's hang on to every shred of summer together.

There is still time to try our big burgers, pork dumplings, steak and cheeses, sweet scallops, whole belly clams, fresh haddock, or deep fried corn. And my favorite, fried dough. Mmm.

See you later, or before we close Sept. 28th, we hope.
