We’ve thought long and hard about what to do today. Begin a small business, closing even for a day hurts the books, and we’ve got employees to care for. However, it doesn’t feel right to have business as usual when so many heavy things are happening in our country. So, in solidarity with our community, we are closed today to support the Nationwide strike. This darkness has got to give.

We recently had the privilege of donating a large shed that will now serve as a classroom for a brand-new outdoor school right here in Sunriver 🌱

Yellow Leaf Nature School is led by two incredibly kind, thoughtful, and deeply caring individuals who are creating something truly special for our community. Watching the kids run around with pure excitement—happy to be at school, learning outside, and fully immersed in nature—was nothing short of heartwarming.

This school came to life through the generosity of many local businesses and community members who stepped up to help get something so needed off the ground. We’re incredibly grateful to be a small part of that bigger picture.

At The Wallow, we truly believe in giving back to our local community. When we support one another, we all grow stronger—and that’s something worth investing in every single time ❤️
