Here’s a little Narunya’s story some of you may not know… 👀✨

Back in 2006, before Narunya left Texas to return to Thailand after staying here for only 6 months, she made a huge batch of homemade curry and gave it to a friend. That friend later shared the curry with a woman named Phai. 🍛❤️

Then in 2007, Narunya returned to Belton to officially begin building her life and family here in Texas. On her very first day attending ESL class at Baptist Church in Belton, she met Phai in person for the first time.

Who would’ve thought a container of homemade curry would turn into a lifelong friendship and sisterhood? 🥹✨

Years later, “Phai” became the Chef Phai everyone at Narunya’s knows and loves today — one of the hearts behind so many delicious dishes since before day one. 🍜🤍

Our thoughts are with the team at Miller’s Smokehouse during this difficult time.
Small businesses are stronger when we support one another.

The restaurant caught on fire last night, and we will be shut down for now, and will keep everyone posted on what’s next. There have been a few tears, but complete trust that everything happens for a reason, and everything will be okay. Thank you for all the love and support we’ve already received.
