"If you want a happy ending, that depends, of course, on where you stop your story." I KNOW this is not the end of the story of 100 South Mill Street, it is just the end of my chapter. I know I am one of the lucky ones ... the last 10 years have been amazing. I spent my 30's here, Isabella grew up here, we had Jack here, we met Alex here, I got to work with my mom here, and my husband totally supported me here. PLUS ... I have met some of the greatest people here and they have become my friends. I have the best customers and because of all of you I have got to do something I love everyday for the past 10 years. Time is ticking down ... I officially start as the new Community Development Director on November 1st. There are only a few sale days left...and we keep marking things down. I also just got in some gorgeous Fall flowers...so place orders for the next couple of weeks. Stop by and see us soon.

P.S. THANKS SO MUCH for all the kind words and well wishes about my new job and being missed here. TRUST me I feel the same way about leaving. BUT with fingers crossed we keep getting calls about buying/renting/leasing/owning this building and business. Each call is more exciting and perfect than the last. So ... we are confident something great will happen to this building and business. We had such good luck here we know someone else will too. Thanks again!

I am pleased to say that I have accepted the postition of the Economic Development Director for our area. While I am very excited to start this new adventure I am also sad to leave The Perfect Pair. The last 10 years have been some of the best times of my life. I have been one of the lucky ones to be able to say "I love coming to work almost everyday".

Today alone I got to have coffee with some of my favorite people, visit with a couple touring from the UK, been thanked for helping with funeral flowers, helped pick out a Birthday gift, met a man from South Africa, talked about K-State Football, took some call-in flower orders and it wasn't even noon yet!

Soooo....if any of this sounds as exciting to you has it has been for me, maybe I have a business opportunity for YOU! We really feel like we "rescued" this building, we restored it to its orginal beauty, and we re-opened it to be enjoyed by many. We really aren't sure what we want to do and are open to ideas and inquiries. We just know we have an amazing location in the heart of beautiful downtown Beloit.

If you have any ideas about working, running, managing, leasing, owning, renting, buying, trading, or just questions please contact me soon! I am open to ideas, I just want someone to enjoy this location and business as much as I have. In the meantime guess what, it is SALE time! Be on the look out for some great SALES coming SOON!
