Thai Tamarind Restaurant in Belmont, some relationships become much more than business—and Sonia at InMobi in San Mateo, has been a perfect example of that.

As one of our most valued corporate catering partners, Sonia has played an important role in our journey. We are truly grateful for her trust, loyalty, and continued support, and for giving us the opportunity to share the flavors of Thai Tamarind with the InMobi team for over four years.

As Sonia moves on to an exciting new chapter with another company, we want to take a moment to recognize her and say THANK YOU for being such a wonderful part of our story.

Pad Thai looks simple. It is not. Even for Gordon Ramsay.

Real Pad Thai starts with tamarind — actual tamarind pulp, not ketchup. Then the balance: palm sugar for sweet, tamarind for sour, fish sauce for salty. Get one of the three wrong and the whole dish falls apart.

Then the wok. Screaming hot, noodles tossed in seconds — too slow and they turn to mush, too fast and the sauce never coats. Egg ribbons, firm tofu, shrimp, chives, bean sprouts, crushed peanuts, fresh lime. Every ingredient hits the wok at its own exact moment.

Once again, helping out our friends Stanislaus Animal Services Agency with their adoption and foster event tomorrow.

So many wonderful dogs, like handsome Buck here, (and cats!) need good homes! Looking for a new “best friend?” Please !

We’ll be open for adoptions this Sunday from 3 PM– 7 PM! 🐾

No appointment is needed. When you arrive, please text the number posted on the board to let our staff and volunteers know you’re here.

Before you head our way, please take a moment to read how Sunday adoptions work.

A few important things to know:

- Sundays are only for fostering or adopting. We do not offer reclaims or other shelter services on Sundays.

- No pre-adoptions are available. Dogs and cats must be ready to go home that same day.

- Sundays are primarily focused on our Final Call dogs who urgently need homes. You can view them here: https://www.stanislausanimalservices.com/atrisk/adopt-dogs.shtm?color=red&sort=orderByIntakeDate

- There will be a board outside the shelter listing our Final Call dogs, along with additional adoptable dogs who may have been evaluated or are puppies looking for homes. We’ll also have adoptable cats available to meet!

- Our doors will remain closed to walk-in traffic for safety reasons. Once you text us, please give us a moment to respond and we’ll be happy to assist you.

- If you don’t see a dog or cat you expected to be available, please ask us! We’re happy to check into it for you.
