After 32 incredible years, we have some bittersweet news to share: The Captain’s Cap in Belmont has closed its doors.
For more than three decades, Belmont has been so much more than the place where we did business—it has been home. We are deeply grateful to the people of Belmont and the surrounding community who welcomed us, supported us, and made The Captain’s Cap part of their lives.
To every longtime customer who has supported us through the years, to every new face who gave us a try, and to everyone who has shared a memory, a story, a family meal, or a special occasion with us: thank you. Your support, loyalty, friendship, and encouragement have meant more to us than we can put into words.
Thirty-two years is an extraordinary run, and we know how fortunate we have been to have such an amazing community behind us for all of it.
We’ve watched families grow, celebrated countless birthdays and milestones, welcomed generations of customers, and made memories right alongside you. Those are the moments we’ll carry with us, and they are what made these 32 years so special.
While saying goodbye to Belmont is incredibly difficult, this isn’t goodbye to The Captain’s Cap. Our Gastonia and Denver locations are still open, and we would love nothing more than to continue serving you there.
So please come see us, share a meal, catch up with old friends, and keep the memories coming.
