BELLPORT GENERAL is a speciality coffee shop and a general store with a strong design component.
We opened in Bellport Village less than a year ago and are still developing our product offering and experimenting with new food and beverage.
We are currently looking for a passionate LEAD BARISTA/KEY HOLDER to join our team. We are looking for someone with strong barista experience and an interest in food with the drive to grow within the company. You will be a leader by example and have a genuine passion for the coffee industry. As the location operate also as a general store, you would also have sales clerk duties.
The ideal candidate will have an outgoing, warm personality and great attitude -proactive, a strong work ethic and willingness to pitch in whatever the task -an eye for quality, detail, speed and service -enthusiasm for our retail approach and product offering.
Responsibilities include -quality control -keeping a good atmosphere -cash management -customer service and keeping an eye on inventory
Hours: full time including weekends, with two consecutive days off Tuesdays and Wednesdays - part time position also available.
