Hey everyone! We’ve got a switch up in our schedule this week so here’s where to catch us:

We’ve got a major private event tomorrow so we are taking Friday to re-up our supplies for all the fun this weekend. We’re keeping it simple with the classic cheesesteak sammies and tacos this week and next leading up to Bellingham Veg Fest on Sunday the 20th (don’t forget!!) where we’ll have a bunch of extra goodies.

Can you believe it? Sammies turns 5 on Thursday! I’ll never forget pulling into the Fanatik parking lot, so fresh we didn’t even have our iconic cheesesteak monster logo on the rig yet. I was so nervous. We met so many people. Y’all tried what was easily the worst version of our cheesesteaks but you liked it so much, you kept coming back. For that, I’m so grateful. Thanks for letting me feed you all. It’s been so cool. 5 more years? Fingers crossed!

We’ve got the chicken bacon ranch sammy and some miso cookies again this week, alongside the peach-berry custard cup topped with brown sugar toasted corn flakes, pictured here!

After a nice lil staycation, we are back for a couple days this week! You can catch us at Wander on Thursday from 4pm ‘til 8pm and at the 🫜 Bellingham Farmers Market 🫜 on Saturday from 10am ‘til 2pm. Wander has been booked last minute for a private event on Friday so we will be using the day to catch up on some more life admin stuff and getting organized for the events we have coming up next month!

This week, the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sammy is coming in hot featuring our roasted soy curls, melted cheese and chunky bacon bits loaded into a hoagie roll with chopped tomatoes and lettuce and loads of our house made ranch. As a little sweet treat, I’m bringing back the Miso Earth Gem cookies we did during Bellingham Veg Fest restaurant week back in June. They were the sleeper of our line-up and we’ve been getting requests for them ever since.

Just a reminder that we are closed this week for a quick summer break! It’s the time of year where we start to slow down so we try to take a short break before Bellingham Veg Fest (September 20th! Don’t forget it!!) to enjoy the sun and get some rest for my little arthritic hands and body.

I know I know, we are only open three days a week, how could we possibly need a summer break?! But the reality is that despite being a small but mighty food cart, it’s a lot of BTS work for yours truly to get done each week, I’m just one guy! So to continue to do what I do for you all, I must rest to help manage my chronic pain and avoid burn out. I encourage you all to do the same if you are able! One cannot pour from an empty pitcher so be sure to take time to care for yourself so that you can continue to provide for and support others! Take a lil Hot Girl Walk and touch some grass, lay in the sun like a lizard and eat snacks with your friends. Trust me!

We’ll return to Wander Brewing next Thursday the 27th! I love you ❣️

Another delicious week yall. The Nacho Sammy is on the menu. If you’re new around here, the nacho is a little remix of our cheesesteak featuring our house seitan tossed with chipotle marinade and layered inside a hoagie roll, with queso cashew whiz and pickled jalapeño relish and topped with pico de gallo and crushed noochy tortilla chips. So good!

Next week, we will be closed for a quick lil summer break so catch us this Thursday and Friday 4-8pm at Wander Brewing and Saturday 10am-2pm at the 🫜 Bellingham Farmers Market 🫜

Elote Pasta Salad (pictured here with Valentina hot sauce and fuego takis!) is back again this week with the Salsa Verde Tacos, featuring our roasted soy curls crisped up in cumin-garlic oil and topped with chipotle cashew crema and roasted tomatillo salsa verde! The tacos are gluten-free, pasta salad is nut-free!

Couple of specials this week! We’ve got the ever popular Elote Pasta Salad coming in hot with roasted corn, seasoned lime mayo, cilantro and scallion. Topped with Tajin and your choice of crushed noochy tortilla chips or fuego Takis. We’ll even have Valentina’s hot sauce available to give you some heat!

Salsa Verde Tacos feature our roasted soy curls crisped up with garlic-cumin oil, in warm corn tortillas with roasted tomatillo salsa verde, chipotle cashew crema, fresh cilantro and white onion. Gluten-free of course!

That’s right, baby. The Carolina Gold is back for this week and next. Roasted soy curls covered in a tangy sweet Carolina Gold BBQ sauce topped with a creamy coleslaw and Tim’s jalapeño kettle chips on a toasted bun.

Picnic potato salad with our house bacon bits is also back due to major demand! The perfect combo for a warm summer day.

Special custard cup this week while supplies last! Our classic poundcake and vanilla coconut custard base, topped with strawberry-raspberry sauce and NOT PICTURED: it’ll have also crushed Lemon Oreos on top. After taking all my pictures, a lil j-birdie told me I should eat the cup with a lemon Oreo and, girl, did i listen. So now you get little citrusy crunchies! Will post updated pics once we are all set up for service tonight at Wander Brewing from 4pm ‘til 8pm!

Since we have a weird lil event schedule this week, we’ve just got our classic core menu items for savory goodies and we’ll have a banger special Sammy for you next week. See ya soon!

We are so excited to be back at Pride this year. It’s always one of our favorite events of the season ❣️ we’ll be set up right on Railroad Ave across the street from the old Boundary Bay Brewery location in the same parking lot that hosts the farmers market! We’ll post some pics when we set up so you can find us!

We will be closed on Thursday this week to make sure we are prepped and ready for our Saturday market and the festival on Sunday, so if you aren’t big on crowds, come see us at Wander on Friday!
