Hey Comedy fans and supporters of local comedy!

I’m hustling HARD to cover the costs (advertising/printing/rental fees/paying comics and all the other little related stuff that keeps popping up) of this years Laughing Hamster Comedy Festival and finding myself needing to turn to the community for that last push to put us over the finish line.

Absolutely any amount you can donate towards this homegrown B’ham event is very appreciated AND gets you a 2026 LHCF sticker mailed directly to your hot little 🐾 🐹 paws.

Hey there fans, friends & fam!
Since we are no longer running live comedy shows at Corner Taphouse- we have decided to secure a different venue in Fairhaven.

We are very excited to let you know about our new rebrand
Firehouse Comedy Hour!

Our shows will now be held at the legendary Firehouse Arts and Events Center 1314 Harris Ave.
Still in Fairhaven but at a different and we feel is, a better location.

Our reoccurring show date will still be the third Fri of the month but start times will now be 7:30pm at this venue. Doors open at 7pm to give you all a chance to grab a beverage or snack at the adjacent cafe and settle in to enjoy the show.

The first show will be a “Best of the Fest” preview of the upcoming Laughing Hamster Comedy Festival and stars the wildly funny Jaci Terjeson. Along with the incomparable local talent of Dan Mills as our feature.

These shows will still be hosted by Nikki Kilpatrick and will have the same attention to detail, warm reception and amazing comedy that our Southside Comedy Hour Shows were known and loved for.

Comedy shows consistently sell out at this venue so be sure to get your tickets early.
As for now, the prices remain the same.

Thank you for all of your exceptional support over the last 3 years.
We cannot wait to grow at our new location and continue to bring laughter to our beloved Fairhaven!

The crew at Venus Comedy Productions has been running well loved and popular shows at Corner Taphouse for about 3 years.
That came to an end recently.

We have been informed that comedy shows will continue there in September but will be run by someone else.

Please note these are not our shows.
We appreciate the support and love we’ve been given at this room over the years.

Please follow us at Venus Comedy Productions to stay in the know about all of the other shows we run around our beautiful town.

As they say, all good things must come to an end~Southside Comedy Hour and Venus Comedy will no longer be running shows at Corner Taphouse.

It was excellent run of over 35 shows and we are so dang grateful for all of the support we had over the nearly 3 years we were there.

But never fear! Venus Comedy Productions still produces three monthly shows around Bellingham at Jokes on the Waterfront Delle Bonta, The Afterglow Comedy Hour Depot and @ Laughs @ Larrabee Comedy Night at Larrabee Lager Company as well as Laughing Hamster Comedy Festival this October 2026.

There is so much excellent live stand up comedy happening in our beautiful city!
You can follow Bellingham Comedy to stay in the know about all upcoming shows around town.
